Security & Delivery Questions

Are my details secure if I order online?

You are extremely safe ordering through That’s My Ball™. We process payments using DirectOne’s SSL Encryption software at 128 bit (or greater) to insure your personal details are kept safe. None of your payment details are stored, this ensures you will be happy with your transaction. If you have any concerns you are welcome to order offline by calling us on 03 9434 6770 or 1300 445 054.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

Orders for standard ID stamps, Tin Cups and Gifts and Accessories (basically, all our products except for the custom ID stamps) are generally processed and dispatched within 2-4 working days.

Once orders have been lodged with the post office, delivery by Australia Post will normally occur within 2-8 business days (Australia wide).

Orders for customised ID stamps take 3-4 weeks to manufacture and dispatch from the date of order. Customised ID stamps are sent via Australia Post Parcel Post and signature on receipt is required.

For deliveries outside Australia, it all depends on your location. Delivery can take up to 3 weeks to the UK (as an example). Please note that international parcels are sent via Air Mail and are NOT tracked. Insurance is not provided.

How will my purchase be sent?

For deliveries within Australia, we provide flat rate delivery services using Australia Post Express Post and Couriers Please.  It doesn’t matter how many items you purchase, you will be charged only one flat rate delivery fee. Your location will determine whether we use Australia Post or Couriers Please. If you would like to obtain a tracking number after we have shipped your item, simply give us a call or send an email to caroline@thatsmyball.com.au requesting same. Deliveries to PO Boxes will always be sent via Australia Post.

For deliveries outside Australia, we charge a flat rate international delivery fee. We use Australia Post Air Mail. Please note that international parcels are NOT tracked and we do not provide insurance. It doesn’t matter how many items you purchase, you will be charged one flat rate international delivery fee of $22.00.

I need my order to arrive super fast. Can you do this?

Generally we process and dispatch orders within 2-4 business days. However, if your order is extremely urgent, give us a call or send us an email and we’ll endeavour to process and dispatch your order super, super quick! This applies to orders for standard ID stamps, Tin Cups and accessories only.

Unfortunately we do not offer an international express delivery service.

That’s My Ball™ cannot be held responsible for transit times nor for any goods lost in transit once lodged with the freight carriers.

What is your Returns Policy?

We want you to love That’s My Ball™ as much as we do.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, or if the product is faulty, contact us for a full refund or exchange. Contact us by calling 1300 445 054 or send an email to caroline@thatsmyball.com.au. Should a refund be required, all refunds will be credited to the original form of payment (excluding shipping charges).

Can I return my goods if they are damaged in transit?

All stamps and accessories are shipped in perfect condition and every effort is made by us to pack your goods accordingly. We use tough cardboard mailing boxes and padded mailing bags. We do not accept responsibility for any goods damaged in transit. Queries relating to goods damaged in transit should be directed to the carrier ie Australia Post or Toll Priority directly.

Product Questions

How big is the That’s My Ball™ Golf Ball ID stamping unit?

That’s My Ball™ ID stamping unit measures approximately 70mm tall and 35mm wide.

How large is the design when stamped onto the golf ball?

Your chosen design when stamped on the golf ball is approximately 9mm in diameter (at the design’s widest and/or tallest point). Designs with an outer circular border ie Be Happy, Alphabet and Zodiac sign stamps are all 10mm diameter in size. Of course you can stamp your golf ball as many times as you like. So your final look is completely up to you!

Is a That’s My Ball™ Golf Ball Stamp easy to use?

Your beautiful That’s My Ball Golf Ball ID stamp couldn’t be simpler to use. It produces a crisp, clear image of the design on your ball when the correct technique stamping is used.

Our tip is to read the instructions enclosed with your stamp carefully and have a practice on a couple of used golf balls. We have also put together a 60 second ‘How to Use’ video here. Follow this, practice on some old balls and you’ll be on your way to becoming an expert in no time!

How durable is the That’s My Ball Golf Stamp Ink?

The ink we use for the manufacturing of the That’s My Ball Golf Ball stamp is extremely durable. First of all it’s waterproof. Secondly it has superior durability to that of most permanent marker pens.

Of course different playing conditions will affect the stamp differently so a reasonable expectation of general wear and tear should be expected but with correct application, you should still be able to clearly identify your golf ball at the end of an 18 hole round. The good news is, even when the stamp does fade, you can reapply it within seconds.

** Special Note – our green and charcoal grey inks are not as deep in colour as our blue or red inks. Whilst we use the same ink for all colours, the green and charcoal grey may appear to wear more quickly but that’s simply because they are not as deep in colour as the blue or red inks.

How long should my ink pad last?

This can be a tough question to answer as there are many factors to take into consideration eg how many times you stamp an identifying mark on your golf ball; how often you change golf balls; not to mention how often you play!

Technically, with correct use and storage, the ink pad supplied with your golf ball stamp should be good for about 1,000 continuous impressions.

After extended use you will need to press down more firmly and a few extra times to achieve enough ink to stamp your ball. As an example, after nearly 2 years of use from an ink pad, in order to stamp my golf ball effectively I needed to press down up to 8 times quite firmly on the pad to achieve a good transfer of ink to the ball. I still then had another 3 months’ use out of the pad before it expired.

If your golf ball stamp has not been used for an extended period of time, it may appear to have dried out but this may not be the case. This will depend on how old the ink pad is and how long it has not been in use for.

To regenerate the pad, simply press down firmly 6 or 7 times onto the pad to try to draw the ink back up through the fabric pad. Do not add water or any other liquids to the ink pad. If you are unable to regenerate the pad by drawing the ink back up through the fabric then it would seem that your ink pad has expired.

What happens when the ink pad dries out?

Easy. We sell vials of ink or replacement ink pads. If you’ve still got some life in your pad, just purchase an ink vial and simply apply a few drops to the pad. One 5ml bottle will last a long time!

I have a design in mind but it’s not in your range?

We can create custom ID stamps but there is a minimum manufacturing run of 50 units. Custom initials, a nick name or a special motif that’s dear to your heart, we can usually have it created into an ID stamp to help you have it emblazoned on your golf ball. Please note that we are unable to reproduce copyrighted images and/or football/rugby/soccer team logos without express written permission from the appropriate authority. You also need to allow approximately 3 weeks for manufacturing lead times and delivery.

Is a That’s My Ball™ Golf Ball Stamp safe to use?

Sure is. If you have any concerns have a quick read of the printed safety precautions leaflet enclosed with every stamp purchased. In the meantime, here’s some safety tips to keep in mind:

  1. That’s My Ball Golf Ball Stamps are not for children under 3 years of age.
  2. Avoid inhaling the ink for lengthy periods – the ink does have some odour but is not harmful when used for a short period.
  3. Avoid contact with eyes – immediately flush with water and seek medical attention.
  4. Avoid contact with skin – wash off with mild soap and dry cloth and seek medical attention if irritation occurs.
  5. Do not ingest the ink – seek medical attention immediately.
  6. Flammable – keep away from fire.
  7. Avoid contact with clothing – the ink will not wash out easily.
  8. Keep That’s My Ball™ ID Stamp out of direct sunlight and extreme heat/cold as this may affect the life of the ink pad. Replacement ink pads are available for purchase online.

Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions

  1. That’s My Ball Gift Vouchers are redeemable only online at www.thatsmyball.com.au
  2. The Gift Voucher is delivered through standard post and contains a unique code. Once payment has been confirmed, the Gift Voucher will be posted to the nominated recipient. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that this address is correct.
  3. That’s My Ball is not responsible for any incorrect address provided, lost, stolen or destroyed Gift Vouchers.
  4. That’s My Ball Gift Vouchers are non refundable and not redeemable for cash.
  5. No discounts are available on the purchase of a Gift Voucher.
  6. That’s My Ball Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  7. That’s My Ball cannot be held responsible for any incorrectly mailed, lost, stolen or deleted Gift Vouchers.
  8. That’s My Ball reserves the right to cancel a Gift Voucher at any time.
  9. If the value of the transaction is less than the value of the Gift Voucher after checkout, this balance may be used for future online purchases
  10. If the value of the transaction is more than the value of the Gift Voucher the customer will then need to pay the difference by using an additional method of payment
